We've been studying about position vs. time graphs and speed vs. time graphs. Now go onto the internet and find real graphs. Post the URL here and then describe what it is showing. Can anyone find an example of a line, bar, and pie graph? How about some other types of graphs? Can anyone find some real position vs. time and speed vs. time graphs?

These graphs show graphing motion using distance vs time and speed vs time Like on our homework,Ashleys and Marias ride, Ashley rode her bike to Marias house. In the speed vs time graph they are showing kinda the same thing only with slopes. It caculates the speed you were going in m/s. You were accletating at a constant rate. When Ashely was riding she was accelerating at a constant rate for some time as well. It was mostly showing when you were accelerating and when you were going at a constant speed.

Really nice way to start us out Kleine! I've uploaded the file she found on the resource page for anyone who could use a little extra help. Download it and check it out.

it distance and time can be on a graph visually.the diffent types are, speed has a kind of slope.

I like what you guys are saying. Good start Russell, but I'm not positive of what you're telling me. I think I know where you are going with slope, but explain it to everyone. :)

Nice work Tucker! You mentioned that at the end of the second graph "...it goes down..." can anyone tell me if this is an acceleration. Take a look and get back to us.
