For the next two weeks, chew on this thought and post your responses here. You've finished up your unit on force and motion, and you know more than you probably think. Now knowing that forces, energy, and motion is all around us, where do you see it around town. Describe things around town that demonstrate how forces transmit energy to cause motion. In each of your entries you should include energy, forces, and motion, and be sure to tell us where in Alpine we can see what you are talking about. Need help? Let me know.
You had a chance to see at the beginning of the week my world's record breaking attempt! ...okay the rain turned it into a weak little Hot Wheels ride on a track! Now thinking about that ride and the set up. Name all of the way in which you could make me (the car) faster in a perfect world, but be sure to explain in detail why it would make me (the car) faster. No repeating what others said, so read the other posts.
We've been studying about position vs. time graphs and speed vs. time graphs. Now go onto the internet and find real graphs. Post the URL here and then describe what it is showing. Can anyone find an example of a line, bar, and pie graph? How about some other types of graphs? Can anyone find some real position vs. time and speed vs. time graphs?
This blog is for you...
Feel free to share some curious train of thought you have, as well as share your thoughts on others.
