This is a statement I made during my last lecture on the nature of science. Although it wasn't our main topic it is interesting and important in it's own right. Tell me what you understand this to mean.

It means if you don't have evidence of aliens it dosn't mean they don't exist.

mr.casey!...i think that absence of evidence is not evidence of absence can mean arguing for something that can not be proven...that's as much as i can come up with so far but i will be thinking more about that subject...:)

hello mr Casey to me absence of evidence is not evidence of absence means, when your talking of something such as aliens or what black holes it means even though you dont know aliens arent out there it doesnt eliminate the possibility of aliens or other creatures in outer space :)

Exactly Chase! Can anyone come up with some other concepts that might be true, but we have no evidence for?

I agree with Chase 100% I mean think of all the examples like the loch ness monster or bigfoot; me personally i dont believe in them but i mean i could be incorrect we have never had a bigfoot in a zoo or aliens in captivity. So see we have no evidence for any of these "things" but that doesnt mean they arent real......(0_0)

This is a very good point Shay. IS there anything else that might fall into this category?

It means just because something can't be proven or discovered and there is no evidence of the thing(s) that doesn't mean that they aren't real they just haven't been discovered yet. Although we can all be skeptical yet never know what things are out there and what are yet to be discovered. 7/17/2012 01:34:27 am
You'll find incredibly lots of details like this take into consideration. Thats a great point out speak about. I offer the thoughts above as general inspiration but clearly you may discover questions such as one you bring up the location that the most crucial thing will probably be within the honest excellent faith. I don?t know if guidelines have emerged about such issues as that, but I am positive that your job is clearly known as a fair game. Both boys and girls have the impact of basically a moments pleasure, for the rest of their lives. Comments are closed.
