Physical Science:
M/T: On the left hand side of your science notebook I want you to define a star. You must use 30 words or LESS. You must use the terms fusion, gravity, and matter. You must use your own words, and you need to finish it with an improved, detailed drawing show the interior.
W/Th: Tonight I want you to define and draw a red giant, a main sequence star, a white dwarf, a black hole, a neutron star and a red dwarf. Do this on the left hand side of your HR diagram.
SPECIAL NOTE: Steele Canyon High School open houses will be held on January 31st, from 6-8pm; and on February 2nd, from 10-Noon.
Life Science:
M/T: We started learning about Darwin's exciting journey to the Galapagos. Now creating a "Limited Word Organizer" create a diagram outlining Darwin's four big observations on the left hand side of the entry. If you don't know how to do this, the instructions are in your notebook reference page titled "process, process, process...". If you lost that, I have it uploaded below.
W/Th: Tonight I want you to find an article on a threatened or endangered species. How is natural selection stressing these animals?
