M/T: Tonight you are going to start the first step in completing your flip notes. Tonight you will complete only the Force and Motion flips. the front of this flip note should have the term a an illustration showing the term. The back side of these flips should have the definition and a written example that explains the picture on the front side.
W/Th: Tonight, like last night, you will be working on your flip notes. In class we put together definitions that you could use, but now you need to create illustrations on the front of the four force flip notes, and then explain each picture on the back where the definition is. Don't forget, all illustrations for me should have color.
F: As your planetary explorers start to take shape our testing will begin next week on their performance. This is what we'll be doing as a lab write up. SO to prepare I want you to make a Title Page, write an introduction and your hypothesis. Your hypothesis should be on your car design and what OPR you expect to achieve. If you don't know what OPR is, go back to the project on the other page and read. Oh, and always use the lab write up guidelines. Those can be found on the website too if you somehow lost yours.
HOMEWORK BONUS: If I were writing a Title I would call it "An Experiment to Determine the Efficiency of a Planetary Explorer" Whoa! I just did it for you!
If I were writing the hypothesis I might say something like, If we strip down and rebuild the planetary explorer to have sticky tires and a plow, I believe it will achieve and Overall Performance Ratio (OPR) of over 1.5 because.... Dang, I did another piece for you.
