Physical Science:
M/T: You need to clean up the calculation we did today IF you didn't get that far. You also need to perfect your "Ode to Speed" poem. Actually, more specifically, the ode should be about calculating speed. Yes, you should have an illustration. Here is an example of an ode, but it doesn't need to be this long...nor does it have to rhyme.
Ode to S'mores An ode to s’mores
I love them more
Every single day
Nice and sweet
My favorite treat
I’d eat them anyway
Tasty and yummy
Inside my tummy
Give me more I say
I do adore
My cherished s’mores
I’ll eat them June through May
Soft n fluffy
Big n puffy
They make me want to play
Or when I’m mad
And feeling sad
They chase my clouds away
An ode to s’mores
I want some more
Every single day
If we ran out
I’d have to shout,
“MOM, get some more today! ”

W/Th: For tonight I want you to go to your left hand side of the entry "I have a need for speed, part Deux" and define and illustrate velocity, acceleration, average speed, and instantaneous speed.
Life Science:
M/T: Make sure you have all of the information that you need to be able to put together your presentations for next week. Don't ignore the criteria.
W/Th: Your final presentation needs to be ready for next week so be sure you know what the two pages of notes look like that your fellow students will have to take on your presentation, as well as the activity that will go along with the presentation.
