Homework - Week Twenty-Six

3/18/2013

Physical Science:
M/T: Today you have completed your testing of the substances.  Don't lag, get the results done!  Organize them, color code, etc. to make them more organized and understandable to the reader.  Lastly, start on that Conclusion!  4 simple paragraphs.  Just follow the guidelines and be clear and concise.   BE SURE TO USE THE LAB WRITE UP GUIDELINES!!!  Friday is the last day to submit your work!

W/Th: Final lab write-up should be coming in tomorrow if you didn't turn it in today.

Life Science:
M/T:  Today you worked in class on your results and your conclusion.  The next time I see you we'll be working on making fancy frog products!  Be sure you have your lab completed or you won't get to participate.  Oh, and if your lab is done, be sure to bring in all sorts of cool stuff to make into frog products (earings, keychains, pencil toppers, necklaces, magnets, string, glitter, clear coat, paint, permanent markers, etc.)

W/Th:  Creep out your parent and friends with your new frog-ware!

Homework - Week Twenty Five

Physical Science:
M/T: Well, if your class didn't finish the Balancing Equations worksheet, you need to finish it tonight.  The bonus question is optional.

W/Th: Tonight you need to set up your lab report with the title, Introduction, and hypothesis.  The guidelines are in your notebook, but if you somehow lost them, they have been posted below.

Homework - Week Twenty Four

3/4/2013

Physical Science:
M/T: Today you did your tie-dye lab.  Tonight, if you didn't finish it in class, you need to use the four terms given to you and describe what happens to the dye particles as we dyed your shirt.  Next, make a colorful illustration of what the particles do dye did.  This should all be on your left hand page.  You may have completed this in class.

W/Th: Find an article that discusses a chemical reaction in our world.  Glue this on the right side of a new entry.  Now on the left use the limited word organizer (found in your process reference pages) to explain how you know this is a reaction.  This part is done on the left side.  Period one is exempt from this.

Life Science:
M/T: Well, you took your test today on body systems.  We're now going to look at a few specific organs.  Tonight I want you to find an illustration of the eye.  We'll be using this tomorrow.  If you can't print one, then you should draw it, using color.

W/Th:  We discussed eyes and how they interact with E-M energy today.  You are now starting your next formal lab.  You may want to dig up your previous lab for help, but complete the first three sections of your lab for this experiment.  Remember that the guidelines are in our notebook!  PERIOD 7 - You didn't get this far so ignore this!
