View the web pages built for the planetary substance project. They can be found on the project page of this site. Review one and give us some information on substances that we should add to that site.

the article about uranus doesn't have any information on the atmosphere of the planet

So now tell them what should be there!

On the second mercury website, I did not read anything about solutions, solvents or mixtures. Mercury does have those substances because that was my planet as well. It was a great website overall, they just needed to add those key substances.

It sounds like you know what you are talking about Jill. Now tell us where and what those substances are.

On Mercury, there are elements like helium and neon which is one substance. It also has compounds like carbon dioxide which is a substance as well as water which is a substance and mixture. Water is the only mixture in the planet and also has an aqueous solution called solvent.

Not Bad Jill, but water is a substance, but how is it a mixture?! Water can't HAVE an aqueous solution, it FORMS an aqueous solution. Any solution that uses water as it's solvent is an aqueous solution. When you describe a solution you should describe it as two parts, the solvent (like water), and the solute (like salt or sugar, etc.).

On the website that I chose, I did the one on the astroid belt. I believe we should add that Ceres core is icy and that the core is most likely rocky. Also, scientists believe that Ceres may contain a ocean. Ceres is made up of mixtures and universal solvents of water and ice. Finally, at Ceres brightest points it is still dim to a persons eye.
