Last week was pretty slow on "The Train". Earlier, you made a product using our terms, now this week I want you to think about a toy that is currently on the market. Talking about this toy, tell me where you see the force and motion concepts displayed. Next, put a URL from the internet so we can see what you are talking about.

In my opinion the best and simplest toy to use that shows force, air resistance, and lots of motion concepts is a sling shot. You use force to pull it back then lets say there's a rock in it you let go it would start to accelerate and the rock would fly at various speeds as it continues because the gravity and air resistance would slow it down and the gravity would bring it down eventually.

All the toys in the clas show force could be aplaid to all the stuff for the example in helicopter it show that helicopter can go agents the gravity

One toy i think would show force well is probably a tetherball because you use gravity to come down, air resistance to go toward the other person and friction when you strike the ball with your hand. Or maybe a ping pong table and set?

A catapult because it has force and A.R.

I was thinking either a remote control speed boat or a sailboat. When you have a speed boat, the motor makes it accelerate, thrust because the boat needs to drive away the air coming at it, friction to keep the boat on top of the water, and air resistance because it will go pretty fast on the water and air will be coming at it. Sail boat is a little bit different. It doesn't have a motor, but has a sail. Gravity will help it stay up straight, and air resistance even if it doesn't go as fast as the motor boat.

You see, there are so many toys today on the market that it is hard to just chose just one. However a prime example is the Nerf guns we all hear about. Obviously the small foam dart has many different forces applied to it after being fired. Gravity, for example will bring the dart down over time. Also the gun is creating friction as the small foam dart travels and slides against the barrel.

A toy that consists on force, motion, and air resistance, is the skateboard. When riding down a hill it uses all three to make the riding a rushing experience.

I believe that an airzooka alson known as an air slingshot could show force and motion because it forces air at a direction and it shows motion by it being able to force the air at a quick speed.

A car with force and motion, is a hot wheel car and track because the hot wheel is being forced on a different amount of speed and and motion by all the twists and turns all over the track.

I believe a good toy would be simply a bike

i think the best thing to describe motion would be a quad it moves fast and breaks threw air resistance and that is why i think it would be the best

I'm not positive that this is really a toy but i guess it could be.A balloon is a good example because when you blow it up and let it go so that it will fly all over the room like crazy, it pushes against the air because it pushes out air.It accelerates when more and more as air is forced out of it.And gravity is shown when it runs out of helium or air and ends up falling to the ground.

a simple scooter i think would show lots of motion and force because of you having to push or apply force to accelerate Comments are closed.
