Read/view the image below. Now, tell me what you think about this, as well as how your learning is different from the education your parents had?

I think what the the phrase above is saying is, that over the years learning techniques and requirements have changed and improved. It is the ones that can relearn a different way are the ones that will succeed.

This is sad yet true most people in the USA can read and write but that usually goes up until you're in high school and in high school people kinda stop learning and slough off and kinda give up and they usually can't "unlearn' what they have done in high school which is a big mistake cause high school is when you learn the important stuff to get in collage which follows up to getting a job. Sometimes people are still unsuccessful in they're early 20's which really messes up your life. That comes back to the other thing in the picture "relearn" that's why people go back to collage or sometimes high school or cause they want to change they're career. This is not true in all cases but more and more people are starting to be like this. Wow that was a lot of typing!

I think the phrase means people that choose not to learn and just forgette have to relearn everything and they have it worse than people that are unable to read and write. Our learning is different from our parents because we have more knowledge we have new tearms included in our education. Some things that we are learning our parents have never heard of it. I dont know if that is 100% right it's just what i think.

Mr. Casey, I think she has the right train of thought... I believe she is trying to say that students are choosing what they want to know instead of taking it all in. But what she said about that our parents haven't heard about most of what we're learning may be true for some people, but we are just learning at a faster pace than our parents did!! Not trying to bust anyones chops though!!

I think there is a drastic difference, as a result of how advance our technology has gotten. Not only the fact that we can cheat easier, we can also ask for help easier. Along with the fact that writing essays is easier and you can't complain about losing it if you have it as a saved file. Along with the fact that we are now learning things that may not even be useful, but are just taught because they *can* teach us that.

technology today is changing so fast that when people get some new electronics they have to unlearn and then relearn it all over again Comments are closed.
