For this blog entry I want you to consider the chemistry we have done so far. We've looked at characteristics of reaction, what happens to the atoms in a reaction, and some solution chemistry. Where in the universe (planetary, solar system, galactic, etc.) do acids and bases exist? and what atoms and molecules are involved? What organic molecules can be found off-Earth? Where are they? How do they form? This entry will be good this week and the week after break so you could work on it over break as well.

Argon gas is found in supernovean. Organic materials are also found in Meteorites. In 2012 a giant sutter's mill Meterorites had lots of organic compounds. They are pieces of small planets or the moon because of hitting Earth. Acids and bases are found in most liquids on Earth. There is some evidence that there was salt on Mars showing that it might have had water.

Not a bad start Ray, but give us some details of what you are thinking. I know it's not easy, but I need it in your words, this sounds like bits and pieces of news reports. Tell us about the molecules found in meteorites. Anyone else want to join in? Comments are closed.
