ONE MORE WEEK...We are starting to prepare for the upcoming state test. What I want you to do is to pick out three entries from your notebook that come from three different units. Next, I want you to take the content from these three topics and explain how they are related to each other in a concrete way.

I chose these three entries of my science notebook:

i chose change in an atom, our sun is a star, and force and motion. they relate because the change in an atom can effect the sun and different planets and the changing of an atom can effect the air of the particles in the air which can then change the speed or motion of you or the air.

1)States of Matter

Is Ms. Blottin correct? "If a molecule changes its state of matter it should be classified as a chemical reaction between different atoms forming molecules. Such as if we freeze water or form molecules to create fire or something. " let's hear what you think.

Well, I have to disagree with that last sentence. Freezing water is NOT a chemical change, because the molecules or properties don't go through any changes, whereas catching fire to a log would be classified as a chemical change due the breaking or rearranging of the molecules.

Well water may not be the best example but it isn't the whole concept or idea. What I'm saying is like cooking an egg. First it's liquid then when cooked is a solid. It says the molecules do change, and in the evil sausage on the side it says that in a chemical reaction it can be a change of state.
